1 cab no fuss no Idtransfer VC fix

After some work a 1 cab fix is upon us. First thanks to helmi_c, LennySh, HTC, and Naigaman for the magic .dll Without your work it would not be possible.
First this has been tested for Apache with WM6 without voice command installed. Just install the .cab (voice command is included) and pair your bt headset and you will good to go no other steps necessary. No IDtransfer Just VC and fix all in 1 cab. No having to click everytime you reboot. Hope you enjoy..... http://rapidshare.com/files/63888630/VC_Fix.CAB

Work's perfect for me.... :p

Thank's to all who helped with this, HTC especially for the release... And Naigaman for the find....

To me, WM6 now work's better over my H700 bluetooth headset than it did in WM5....

Good luck to all!

What does this fix exactly, and which device is this for? I have a Mogul, with MVC 1.6 and a Plantronics Discovery 665, the only problem I have is the confirmations for name and number do not work..

Thanks

Like I said before, this may fix your issue, but I would hate to see this actually make it worse since it was released for an Apache. Has not been tested on a 6800 at all..

Good luck to you though if you do test.

We can alway's go back if ya do make it worse, would just require a hard reset.. Unless you can get a copy of one main file from another 6800.. would prob be easier...

Post your results...

This is for the issue with the incoming announcements not playing over bluetooth with the 6700 and MSVC 1.6? I'm just checking, before I install this. Also, do I need to uninstall MSVC before installing this cab?

Thanks for all that you guys do!

do you know if I can setup a seperate ring volume for the BT headset and leave the phone ring loud?

currently my ring volume on the phone is set loud and the intial first ring on my BT headset is SUPER loud. the only way to fix this is to lower the phone ring volume to almost zero but that makes the phone ring volume very low but does lower the BT headset volume.

Most bluetooth headset's have a seperate volume control on them. Please check to see if your model does. I have yet to see one that didn't, but then again, there is not many people I know that have a bluetooth headset, and every headset I've ever had, did have the seperate volume control.

If you are unsure about yours, please post the make and model, and maybe somebody will post whether or not it does, and if so, how to turn it up/down...

I find most bluetooth headset volume controls really just adjust the in call volume as the handset does. i do however have a Jawbone which truly does have independant 4 stage volume control.

Do we know what model his headset is yet?
