it makes the shutter on the 640 res all but instant. I mean it's really fast.

Best $15 I spent on this phone. The "night mode" is the best feature--make shooting inside a pleasure.

It still doesn't support the Flash. Until it doesn't I won't pay for it :(

Flash support is slated for late August/September.

Just hit the "OK" button to bring up configuration. Choose "Settings" --> Orientation to change it to whatever you want.

You use the d-pad not stylus to change settings. Not too hard.

Now Supports Flash!!

Rennyn:

Just an FYI (and to others as well), in 1.14 Beta 2 available on ATEKSoft's website, CooCamera now supports flash :D

No surpise, it actually works better than the standard camera app--you just set it to work by default.. Everytime you snap a pic it quickly comes on, takes the pic and shuts off again...works very well.

There is also a neat thing on noise-reduction and "accumlation" whereby the program will take numerous shots quickly and then "overlay" them on top of each other, reducing noise. go read about it...really neat stuff!

Yay! Now it rocks. And the accumulate deal is actually pretty neat. It works even if you're just holding it in your hands and it isn't 100% steady.

webcamera function

has anyone actually used the 6700 as a webcamera yet? i have tried and cant seem to get it to work. i dont see the setting to make it function as a webcam. coolcamera works nice, but will be GREAT if i can get the webcam part going. i havent bought the program yet, do i have to buy it first? i wanted to test it as a webcam befor i did so. if you have a step by step and/or used the webcam function please post...

thanks in advance...
