Voice Dialer?
 

Is there a way to install the Voice Dialer back in on this WM6 install? I *LOVE* this package, but miss Voice Dialer. I don't need all the other stuff that comes with MS Voice Command (and as such, don't really want to pay for it). I know that helmi_c left voice dialer off intentionally, and I guess I can wait for a kitchen (and then bone up on how to use a kitchen...hehehe) and just deal with having to dial manually until then if there's not an install somewhere. Just thought I'd ask. TIA for any help!

Try searching for Cybron. I think there was a cab posted before. It is the factory voice dialer.

Actually, a search for "cyberon" might work better.

Sorru to sound like I didn't search but neither google nor the forum search brought any link to Cyberon Voice Dial ... a lot of discussions, but no links.

Considering it's free (at least when you buy the XV6700 - its preinstalled) can someone please throw up a link to the XV6700 .cab? I did find one for the "hermes" but its reported to NOT work on XV6700.

Also, I HAVE tried Voice command (trial version) - the so called "upgrade" to voice dial - but try using that in a sports car over bluetooth and the recognition drops like a rock. Under the same situations Voice Dial works ROCK solid. For the dependability I don't mind training the top 10 numbers I call.

if not just pm me and i'll send u one cuz the voice dialer is so crappy i aint even worth the time for helmi to put it into wm6 rom

Well, Like I said, its not crappy. Voice command may work under ideal conditions, but in practical conditions like driving (when I really need the hands free features) Voice dial works GREAT. Voice command is crappy for me under those conditions. Heck even under ideal conditions Voice command refuses to pick up some names on my contact list ... and my 1st language is english too.

well english is my second language im viet ms vcm 1.6 even recognize name on my contact that arent english. I guess its good for me but not for u so nothing is ever perfect i guess...hehehe.. hope u find wat u looking for and if i knoe where Cybron is i'll post a link for ya.
