help
now that my phone is stuck in bootlegger mode is there a site I can get some help? (none seems to be comming from here
|
Thanks, I just downloaded Reliance India will post once flashed.
Changes observed: 1. Very fast flashing Took less than 5 mins 2. Boot speed almost at par with AKU 3.5 3. Dial pad looks cool but fonts dialed number window is too small. Smart dialing not working |

1. No. 2. Prior, no. After, yes. 3. Shouldn't use ActiveSync at all for the flash, but I believe WM6 itself does require AS 4.5 if you want to sync your device to your PC afterwards. 4. Nope, I'm still using 1.27 and it works fine. I might upgrade to 1.41 now as Internet Sharing isn't quite as fast as it was under the last WM5 AKU3.5 kitchen, but 1.27 works with no problems. |
Working on Verizon. Flawless install. AMAZING features, Verizon users INSTALL NOW!:headbang:

One thing of note, bluetooth pan does not seem to work on MacBooks with this build.
Everything else appears great! |
ps: but you can use 'phone as modem' and it works just fine. (this is the sprint build)

Working Great!!
Another Verizon XV6700 user!! 5 min flash, loving the new features, i had the AkU2.2 or whatever is the upgrade from UTStarcomm. Very nice Helmi, WM6 is sooooo much better. Many sites I browsed through just said o its a minor update etc.. Bull! These are features I have been waiting for! I was so sad about the Xv6800 still not being out (Not that i was going to buy it right now, i feel way better about my purchase now!!! since i just got my Xv6700 off of craigslist) WM5 was such a welcome upgrade over 2003 (I used to have a XV6600). Guldurn Verizon not bringin the WM6 love. BTW have had a few lockups but its totally worth it. Helmi u are a PPC MASTER. Donations will be coming ur way from everyone.

Donation on it's way. Stronggeek |
Not too up on switching ROMs, so just a simple question or two: Do I follow the same process as an official ROM and just link up to my PC via USB and click the new ROM? And is it preferred to use XP over Vista or it doesn't matter?
