This ROM is old and has plenty of bugs use the PPCKitchen.org kitchen. Should resolve that.

now does the 6700 have to be connected thru activesync the entire time while uploading the rom?

ActiveSync doesn't run while the RUU is going. Just plug it in then run the file. But you will want to use a kitchen. This old premade rom doesn't work for newer bootloaders.

i Happen to like the premade version of WM6 for my Apache waaay better then the 6.1 build. i Tried probably 13 different recipies of ROMS and each one was slow, and laggy on loading, especially the txting portion. I re-flashed to this, with quickmenu, skyfire, the patches, quicknote, MS word, Adobe Lite, and a couple other things, overclocked it to 524 runs amazing compared to WM6.1. just my copper though

Yeah I'm on WM6 again. Kitchen build. My WM6.1 wasen't working right anymore...

What do I need to do to install WM6? The pull down for OS selects WM6.1 and is grayed out in my version of BuildOS.

That is because The kitchen only has WM6.1

I used the WM6 kitchen. It's older.

How do you use this update on a xv6700 that has ver. 1.4, is it possible to downgrade your bootloader to 1.0 or 1.2

Everytime I try to use it I get a data error. I've read that this is because of conflicts with the bootloader.
