I honestly don't know if its posted or not but...sprint's ppc 6700 is what I have. my issue is this. I had upgraded with this successfully. wonderful rom. but when I get text messeges, it is messed. like theres no sender name in its place is the first word of the text. so what can I do to repair it? please and thank you.

use the kitchen, instead of this rom
 

Instead of using this ROM, us the Kitchen which has all the fixes built in.

oh i think i figured it out.
i was trying to access the link from my computer so i could save it in a folder and then put it on the phone.
i do not yet have the PPC 6700
but i should have it by friday, so we'll see.

Good day all...
I have a VX6700 and when I try and do the WM6 Rom upgrade I have an issue. I get an "Error 201..Cannot get data error" The phone was synced with Activesync 4.5 just prior to the upgrade attempt. The device is in bootloader mode and connected via USB. I have reset the device several times and still get the error. Any help is appreciated.

It's because your are in bootloader mode. You can either proceed on, not caring that the utility couldn't read the current ROM version # off your phone (this is what most people do), or you can try running the RUU without the phone in bootloader (your phone might need help getting to bootloader mode during the next step, if you choose this method).

2) reg edit to turn off pop up window on upper tool bar

3) make the contact pics bigger when people call

1) include a2dp profile in kitchen. Build ROM. Follow direction in your manuals for pairing devices.

2) no idea what you're talking about. Either post a screenshot, or try to identify it by removing some of the programs you added in until you don't have it anymore.

3) you'll need a 3rd party app. Search the web. I like s2u2 (because it's free and I don't need/want fullscreen contact pics when my phone isn't locked).
