WM6.1 typing lag?
 

I recently went up to WM6.1 and I'm generally liking it so far. But there's one thing that's driving me nuts: I'm getting some awful typing lag when I'm in doing text messages. It falls behind and letters constantly get dropped, so unless I type slow or my messages come out all convoluted. ](*,)

I like the threaded - and used Twinky's app for WM6.
But the lag now is driving me nuts, and I find myself wanting to dropo 6.1 and go back to WM6 and use Twinky's threaded app. It had good smileys anyway.

Anyone else having this issue? Any fixes / tips?

i have the same issue and i've tried lots of the suggested things by u guys and nothing has worked so far... if any1 can help plz do

Turn off sugestions if you have any problems. I don't know if what I select in the kitchen fixes it but I'venever had that problem and I type fast.

Yep, as said before, work suggestion usually bogs the device down. Turn it off and you should be ok

I don't seem to have any lag at all. I type very fast and even with word suggestions ON for a few days. So, maybe my kitchen ingredients.

I have negligible lag when typing. I have it set to suggest 1 word after three letters and everything seems to be fine for me. What ROM version are you using? Maybe this primarily effects the older 6.1 ROMs and the newer ones aren't effected.

Newest Helmi build. I don't got my phone here right now...I forget what build.
