Error 100/150 loading ROms
 

Hi
Discovered the kitchens a few days ago. Tried to upgrade a few times and kept getting "error 150 Wrong device" on all but the official Telecom Rom.
After a bit of checking it seemed theb V1.0 of bootloader was the problem so I tried the upgrade in "BootloaderFix" .
It upgraded me to V1.02 but now I can't load any ROMS I get either Error 100 or 150 depending which one I try.

Can anyone help?

Hi. Are you using the WM6.1 kitchen? Make s you select the right REV version and you might want to use No_Id drivers.

I.m using 6.1 and newly installed (and updated) kitchen, tried standard and no_id, neither worked b4 I changed the bootloader and neither work now both say its wrong device

Do you have the REV set to v1.02?

Yep definitely changed the REV to 1.02 (on all attempts) sorry meant say that in last reply.
I've tried a couple of diffeernt cooked roms (beyond the official one) and all tell me I'm trying to use the wrong ROM for the device - all except the bootloaderfix -which i did run a second time and it still left me with v1.02.

I'm still trying to unbrick this. I've looked at the output from mtty command after the bootloader fix.
My FAT2 size is larger than in the instructions ie 2c70000 vs 2900000
which i suspect puts me beyond the 64k limit and thus is causing the error message
Am i close can i change this? the output is pasted here?

Well now i found the c:\RUU.LOG and this the last few lines from the no_id utiility in the bootloader fix. This is the last few lines but there were several "cant find USB port".
I'm running this on VISTA do i need to find a XP machine instead?

So now i copied the telecom nbf files into the bootloader fix directory and got the following log :

Are you sure you did task28 55aa after you flashed the 1.02 bootloader?

i am having this problem as well but with bootloader 2.02. i had to reflash an oem to get it serviced, and now it wont let me put mw6.1 on there again. help. i have already almost bricked it a couple times.

I'm picking mine up after giving it back to Telecom to reload, would be nice to get some info on why this happens

i need help with this also
im not stuck in bootloader thou
im stuck onthe splash screen
i tried soft and hard resets and it still only loads to the splash screen

im running 6.1
i got the error after i tired upgradin the radio from 1.27 to 1.41
ive tired to down grade 2 the official sprint rom but i keep gettin error 101 or 150
is my fone bricked?

im also running xp if that helps ne

If you're stuck at the splash screen it's becasue you put too much junk in your rom. Run a very clean ROM. The first thing most of these noobs do is select a buncha programs. Running clean is the best way to go.

i might be a noob but im not that slow

i already had 6.1 runnin and i tried 2 upgrade the rom
thats when all the problems started
i cant get buildos 2 work right now and i cant flash the official sprint rom
im tryin2 get buildos 2 work and see if i can atleast re flash 6.1

What'd you do to upgrade your radio? What bootloader is on your phone? What are you doing different to get 101 vs 150? Which splash screen? boot, boot with red letters on bottom, or WM splash?

Obviously not...it's trying to boot, isn't it?

i dl radio 1.41 off this site
put my fone in bl (2.02)
connect the fone and made sure it says usb up top
run APACUpgradeUt_noID
and then i get error 150

i cant even flash a new rom with buildos
i get the same error
something ive noticed different is when it says wat my old device radio and wat its gonna upgarde 2 ....they are all blank ...and before it would atleast say what i was upgradin to

it doesnt get stuck in the the boot splash screen ne more
it lets me load everything
just with no radio

you need a radio. try loading something else, as R=none is not good.

yea i know thats the problem
but i try loadin other radios
tired loadin the first sprint rom and the second one also
ive tried loadin other wm5 roms and that doesnt work either

ive been tryin 2 find radio 1.27 but cant find it ne where

maybe i can get it 2 work with that radio or an older version
