Slide2Unlock
 

Hi,
I just installed 6.1 on my Apache with Slide2Unlock. If I go to the start menu->settings->s2u2 settings and change anything I get a
"The file 's2u2' cannot be opened." I believe that it is trying to access the file in a location other than \windows.

Any suggestions

did you try to reinstall then soft reset? worked for me on diff. rom when i used s2u2? have you tried tl lock? just got it last night from tmz here and i love it

S2U2 i believe, creates a file under Program Files. If its not there, that might be your issue

I downloaded Slide2UnLock1.21-WM5 and installed it, then I had 2 copies of it running, so I uninstalled it.

I tried creating a shortcut in program files to \windows\s2u2.exe with no luck.

So you're using version 0.72 from the kitchen as well as the newer one? I would reflash without that version and just use v1.18 I LOVE that version!

Yeah I agree about using the most recent version 1.18 and uninstalling and reinstalling 1.18 and then reboot wouldnt be a bad idea.

Thanks everyone!

I ended up updating my BuildOS and remaking the ROM without Slide to Unlock (tried using the 1.18 in BuildOS). Updating my 6700 and installing S2U2 and SUV separately. Works Great!!!

Love iContact also. Makes browsing your contacts much quicker.

I'd suggest you all try out S2U2 v1.20! Very stable!

Edit: After some time of use it looks like A_C improved battery life :)

Anyone have 1.20 in OEM for kitchen yet? Also would like 1.20 with newer S2V (.40) instead of the .38 that is in the 1.18 currently.

Well. V1.20 sure runs nice bnut I just notcied that caller ID is format is strange. It has # (###) ###-### and then the other options should b (###) ###-### but instead it's called "Only" I don't understand. It looks like he fixed power drain issue for those who use Direct Push like me.

now that your build specific issues are resolved you need to start using the s2u2 main tread here or @ XDA, this is a known issue with this version.

Yeah I also am having issues with 1.20 that when it wakes I cannot get to my today screen, I had to stop the app from running and then I could get to it everytime so I will be going back to 1.18 for now.

Same here. A_C has so many different version I wish I could make one good one out of all of them.

the app is updated rather regularly and this is the FIRST time I have ever had an issue with this app. Im sure he will fix it and a new release will be soon. Being honest, IDK how it could get any better than what it already is.....

Wow! really like v1.21 It hasen't had any thing weird happen to me yet! Comes up fast on wakeup. Only I don' like about this app in general is how the battery takes forever to refresh.
