Apache ROMs are fixed size. It doesn't matter how much or how little or what OS. Any unused space in your ROM will be unuseable.

Okay. I got the kitchen(BuildOS and Helmi 6.1 and ran the updater) for WM 6.1. I have build my own rom and checked the size and it looks okay and there are no errors shown. I am getting ready to flash my 6700 and just wanted to verify this so I don't fubar it. I checked my bootloader and it is version 2.02 so I have selected Standard for the RUU. So my next step is to select Tools then Apache then RUU Tool then RUU Standard, and then folllowing the onscreen prompts at that point. Is this correct?

No, after selectiong 2.02 in the rev dropdown and your carrier in the carrier dropdown, select whatever you want and then hit the play button.
