Apache WM6.1 19213 No sync with WMDC6.1 x64
 

Running Vista x64, WMDC6.1 x64.
Sync worked fine for months with WM6.

Just upgraded to WM6.1 via kitchen.
Sync no longer works via BT or USB. WMDC does not see device, but computer does (appears in device manager).
For testing purposes, the phone will sync with ActiveSync 4.5 on my XP SP2 machine, but the Vista machine is where the sync is needed.

Tried with just a very bare stock rom, still no luck.

I've been searching for the past 4 or 5 hours on these forums as well google to no avail. it seems that others were having this problem as well but none have found the solution (or havent shared it at least). Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any leads on a fix?

well i temporarily just copied my contacts over to outlook on my XP laptop and sync'ed from there. huge pain in the ***, but it's good enough until i have time to reformat my vista machine again (just did it end of april! ugh).

im guessing theres a trace of the apache somewhere in the vista registry and some planets just arent alligning right so wmdc just gives up and says nothing's connected. but if anyone else has had this experience and had any luck fixing, i'd love to know...

I have Vista Ultimate x64 with WMDC 6.1.6965, my Apache with WM6.1 19716.1.0.0, seems to sync randomly, sometimes on first dock, othertimes never till it wants to, but i recently tried Softick's Card export II trial, it has a mass storage option and a sync option, i left it on sync and it seems to connect every time now.
