SMS pop up doesn't show, help.
Hi all,
Recently I started noticing that when I get a new SMS, it does not pop up for a few seconds like it used to before being minimized (and accessed through the left soft key - notification). Now, it just comes in minimized. Does anyone know how to fix this (e.g. registry tweak, etc)? I did install SMS-Chat by Vito recently and uninstalled it, I think this may be the reason that this happened, but am not sure. |

Look through the registry tweak sticky. It sounds like you loaded it with a ROM that tweaked the registry already. You can find what key to change in the sticky.

Get rid of SMS Delivery acknowledgements (popup and text msg)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\SMS change “delivery ack” from 1 to 0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox click on “Inbox” then Edit, new key. Name the new key “Settings” Click on “Settings” and then edit, new string value. Value Name should be “SMSNoSentMsg”, Value Data should be “1″. NOTE: Thank weedahoe for the post. I just did a search like you should have. |

oh i'm sorry you must have misunderstood me, I don't mean the SMS Sent Notification, I mean when a New SMS comes in, it now comes in minimized as opposed to coming in open and then becoming minimized and I want the former instead of the latter, make sense?

I would imagine it should be in the registry near the above location.
