issue with MS Voice Command in WM6.1 kitchen.
 

ever since i saw the newer releases of Voice Command in the kitchen (1.6.19213), I can't get my headset to work properly with it. Previously, I could push the talk button on my headset & MS Voice Command would wait for me to say whom or what to dial. So, I am about to roll back to the 1.6.17913 to test.

For those interested, I am using Jabra BT250v. dunno if that matters. Guess it will if other headsets have not had this issue.

Had the same problem. Rolling back fixed it.

Same results here. I rolled back to previous version and my headset works with VC again.
Guess the new version isn't quite right.

The newer version is from the Kaiser and works, but not with the hardware button. Changing the assignment still won't let it work correctly. The best version is still the the previous one. It works fine and there is no new functionality that you miss in the newer version.

I am glad someone with some understanding of the two versions posted here.
I do remember reading when the new version was introduced to post if any issues were found, I am glad I found an issue that people need to know about.

19213 works here with both button and headset

Open your regedit program....
HKLM-Software-Microsoft-Bluetooth-Audigateway

Change BTAGExModule to \\Windows\vcbthag.dll

Soft reset and it will work.

in the spirit of testing, i was going to rebuild a rom & attempt that registry edit. However, like zachspda above, I cannot select 19213 any longer and it is greyed out.

Reading the options.xml file i found this: <RequireDeviceFeature>!Apache</RequireDeviceFeature>

I assume this is new since the last update & means to not use 19213 on an apache (?)

You assume correctly. 213 does not work in the existing apache kitchens.
