Re: Kitchen Crew -- Cooking ROM Changes SPC Code

dont know if it makes much difference but when i was using my sprint 6700, if i didnt let the customizations run, then i couldnt even get into the ppst. when i opened the ext rom i noticed that there was a file referencing the msl in there and this was on a stock from sprint rom. just my 2 cents.

Unrelated - on a stock rom, you have to let the customizations run from ext_rom. On a custom rom, the necessary contents from the ext_rom are already updated and baked in, so letting ext_rom customizations run is either unnecessary or loads older/incompatible files.

No, just the basic programming, ##SPC(Send).

I think the ## codes not working is a dialer issue. Have you tried other dialers? There was a ## Codes OEM in one of the old kitchens (don't know if it's in this one) that allowed you to still access those using links in your start menu if your dialer you chose didn't support dialing ##. Try another dialer, and look for the ## Codes OEM to load into your ROM.

Why doesn't the OP just use the getSPC program listed earlier in the thread and use that?

The question isn't whether you can work around the problem, but whether there is a problem at all. As noted by the 2 posts above yours, the OP is actually having a well known dialer issue that is easily resolved.
