6.1 and wmwifirouter
 

I selected wmwifirouter in the buildos and its in there, but it doesn't appear to actually work. I turn on the wifi and launch it, but it just stalls at the end waiting for ICS.

I can see that ICS is up and running, but wmwifirouter never goes to ready. Am I the only one with this issue?

tried the thread above, no luck. but what did work is re-building without the router option and just installing the .91 cab after the fact!

Mobile networking again!

Had to go create an adhoc connection on the phone but it works fine after that. Using at this second to post this comment.

yea most of us..have had to create a ad-hoc network on the 67 for wifirouter to work, but when I want to use my wifi again after I used wifirouter, I need to go to setting/connections/wifi/network adapters/tiacxwin Compatible Wireless Ethernet and re-check the "use server-assigned IP address" or else the wifi will just sit there trying to connect all day

I do have one strange issue to add. I use wifirouter as my primary internet connection at home. When I finish and close out wifirouter, wifi will mysterious turn itself back on. In previous roms it worked fine, I'd shutdown wifirouter and wireless would stay off.
My laptop will also random loss the wifi link even though the phone is 5 feet away but thats okay.

Any ideas how to keep wifi off, it has killed my battery a couple time.Also on reset my wifi will be turned on again.
