Hi,
No I don't have any other MMS installed. Just the 6.1 rom not extra programs installed at this time. No it doesn't appear to ever to send, it just stays in my outbox. I have sent pictures messages to my wife's phone sitting right next to me so I know they aren't going through. For the guy above, not sure if this will work for Sprint, but I do know it works on Verizon cuz I just did it to my verizon xv6700 a few days ago with no issues. (well except for this one that i am having with picture messaging.) |

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
First, so, so many thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this great package! I flashed my phone this past weekend and it's working great!
I've mostly kept mine as close to the standard 6.1 build just as a start, and then will likely add more bits from the kitchen as I become more familiar with the pros and cons of the 6.1 build. But one thing that I have missed is the character count when sending text messages as part of a conversation. (In other words, if I send a new text to someone, I get the usual counter at the bottom of the message. But if I'm replying to a text message I've already received as part of the threaded conversation, there's no character count.) My thought was that maybe there was a ROM in the kitchen that I had overlooked that would make sure the character count shows up. I believe in the default 6.1 build that it shows in the title bar, but I haven't found any settings that demonstrate where I can see/enable that. Any ideas from others using this build? |

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
Help. Just re-flashed my phone and am trying to restore my text messages using PIM Backup which I used prior to reflashing, both with version 2.8.0.0. Now when I restore all is good except under Inbox it says there are 200 odd items but Inbox is emtpy? Anyone have any ideas on how to get them to appear in Inbox. Sent messages and drafts are there.

One of my XV6900 Touch Kitchen problems might be related ....
I don't have a working MMS feature either. The problem seems to be only the default MMS server is listed, and the ability to add another server is "greyed out". Now, my problem is on the Touch, but I think the same files are used for MMS on the 6700, aren't they? Quote:

Quick way to check if it's installed is look in \My Documents\My Pictures for Birthday_gift, Heart, Photo, Pond, and Utah images.
