Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

FYI, looks like BuildOS Updater is trying to download Titan kitchen files? Do Apache users need these?

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

Hi team, the kitchen was working fine for me until I used the updater and installed the latest update now I get

error 407 Proxy Authenication Required

When I look at the ISA server logs the login process is using user 'anonymous' instead of the logged in user on the domain - is there any way this can be fixed? as I say it was working fine until the latest update.

Is anyone on the team going to address the Data Connection icon status? The fact that it never seems to indicate a Stanby Mode?

I assume (or hope) that GGuru is on the case. Give the man time to work. It's hard work to be a phone ninja.

You need to look at what you're doing that's keeping it from entering standby. Is anyone experiencing this that's NOT using push technology?

As far as the evdo icon showing white arrows (active connection) and gray arrows (dormant), mine does not continuously remain white.

Ever since WM5, since I do not use an exchange server, I have configured AS with a random server IP so I could access the menu items to select schedule...manual on both peak and off peak times. I have not figured out if merely deleting the server entirely after changing the schedule to manual is making any difference. However my EVDO connection behaves like it should.
(WM 6.1) with the latest kitchen.

Is there any other way to disable active push?

However, I do notice AS will launch itself periodically in the background, when the phone is on, it shows as a running program in your favorite task manager. But it does not seem to be making any connections, tho. My question remains, is there a way to stop this from happening? It may still be waking up the phone and causing some of the battery issues ppl have?

activesync has always done that on my phone. I'm not sure why it does, but it has as long as I remember.

Hmmm ... well, I don't use any "push" at all, just my data connection to hit my e-mail server (IMAP) and update WP. I'm not using any new software that I wasn't using with the 6.0 kitchen stuff. Done 3 cooked ROMs with the 6.1 stuff so far and all of them have exhibited the "constant on" data connection icon.

FYI: When I turn off direct push, I don't have the issue anymore.
