Same here ... I haven't see an "older" VC posted, or a newer one? Are the ones in the 6.0 ROM different than the 6.1 ROM?

In the latest updates of OEMs, there should be two versions of MSVC. The newest one came with the newer 19209 build from the kaiser. The older one is what has been used for quite a while.

Unless someone is successfully using the new MSVC from the Kaiser, I'd suggest that it be removed as on option for the Apache until it works properly.
Looks like a reflash is in my near future.

I think I agree with Trident ... VC is not working anywhere near as well as it did with my purchased 1.6 VC, or as well as the one included in the 6.0 ROMs. If there isn't any reason to have the newer one (someone reporting it's working better than the old), I'd 86 the new one entirely. Or, as Trident suggested, allow the "cooker" to choose between the builds of VC.

I find VC cannot hear or understand me and phone use is difficult ( I hear fine but they cannot hear me well) thru bt headset ( moto h500) , this is a recent thing maybe 6.1. I am refashing without any bt enhancments for stereo to see if this helps

Oh yes at build 21

I did a search and can't find anything on Prime Contact. I just cooked a rom and installed using Prime Contact. I love the way it handles except that I can't dial from it. Since I don't see any other complains, I assume I must have it set up wrong. Also, much of the address info is in a Cyrillic font. Not knowing the set up, I removed the mask from the Info Region and it removed my contact work info.

Ok, I have searched and can't seem to find a clear cut answer... I have my rom all ready to go, when I run the RUU and it gives me the little overview, there is no radio version listed. I am somewhat new to this cooking thing. Can anyone let me know if this is normal (the missing radio version) or is there something I need to do in addition to flashing the 6.1 rom? Thanks.

Whatever radio you have will remain. You will not affect your radio or extended rom while using hte kitchen.

You can download a different radio to flash to your phone or a different extended rom. Just do a search and you will find them both.

When I follow the instructions on www.ppckitchen.org - it says download the BuildOS.msi... i downloaded it to my PPC6700 and when I try to run it it says :

There is no application associated with BuildOS, run the application first, then open this file from within the application.

Currently running WM5 that came with the phone.. what do i do? thanks
