WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
UPDATE: 3-7-08:
-Working OEM version of WM6.1 PIE (if intersted, PM me). I have an OEM of this but it requires moving the files to the PATCHES dir in the BuildOS dir to overwrite the standard dll files. -Working OEM of Threaded SMS (not the WM6.1 version). PM me. THIS ONE WILL NOT BE POSTED ON PPCGEEKS.COM SITE. -WM6.1 Threaded SMS: Have seen and played around with the WM6.1 Threaded SMS. Slow and not very fancy. Looks very primitive. codyPPC and Twinky's Threaded SMS are a much better option. UPDATE: 3-5-08: -WM6.1 Threaded SMS: It turns out that the copy of what was labeled WM6.1 Threaded SMS is REALY just codyppc Threaded SMS (which in turn is very similar if not the same as the Palm Threaded SMS prog). I will still work on getting the OEM working but will name CodyPPC Threaded SMS (still issues with the base64 binary). -NetFront Browser 3.5: No Serial Needed -PocketCM v20b: I have not had issues with the .zip themes in ROM. Others have said they are having issues. I will provide CAB versions of the software as well. See below for CAB link. I just up'd a few of my OEM's to the FTP: NetFront Browser v3.5 PocketCM v0.20b PIMBackup v2.8 (Note: If your old PIM backup file used an older version, you may not be able to use this version to restore some of your backed up data.) S2P v0.17 (Slide 2 Play: latest from A_C's Slide2 Collection) This one has been pulled from XDA at the moment due to GLPv2 limitations S2U2 v0.99p (Slide2Lock2: latest from A_C's Slide2 Collection) S2V v0.35 (Slide 2 View: latest from A_C's Slide2 Colleciton) Schaps AdvancedConfig v2.0.2.0 ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....PPCFreak/OEMs/ Cab Versions: ftp://ppcgeesk:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....PPCFreak/Cabs/ Check them out and let me know. I will try and keep atleast the S2x Collection Updates as A_C releases new ones. |

Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
out of curiosity, have you had issues with the themes for PCM not working correctly after building them in?
|
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
With the threaded SMS app how should it be installed? Just unzip and dump it in the \windows directory on the mobile?
|
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
asaylor: These are for the WM6 Kitchen App BuildOS. You will need to unzip them to a specific directory under BuildOS\USER_OEM directory at this time (Possibly later on they could be included in the PPCGeeks_OEM.rar file).
Colonel: I have not had issues with the themes that come with the new version of PCM. I don't like the standard ones (I miss the themes and colors from 19; especially the all black). I am not too impressed with the contact editor at this time. Can't edit the all the fields that I would like with his editor. So as a work around, I have been using the More button and selected View contact (this brings up the WM Contact viewer. Then I click on Menu and Edit to edit the info in WM contact editor). |

Before I try... On the WM6.1 threader, do you know if it has a setting for an email gateway, like the palm threader does? This works very well on the palm threader and I'm reluctant to give that up. |

String: "SMSEmailGateway"="" Stock the Email Gateway is blank (like above entry). |
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
I'm getting a registry error when I try to install the WM 6.1 sms app with the kitchen.
Code:
importing registry file ".\Registry\ffffffff-4290-46c4-9ef9-e797ca961227.rgu"... |

As for the above registry error, OEMizer doesn't like base64 binary or integers from cabs. Try this: Code:
0A,E2,5D,13,50,76,75,41,5D,D5,D9,0B,65,2C,D0,E6,F8,FA,31,88 |

Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
netfront 3.5 needs serial?
thanks for great work! |
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
is the cab link locked?
|
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
is there a netfront 3.5 cab or only an oem version?
|
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
there was a cab of the free beta on one of the browser threads, i don't know if it's still free or not. do an advanced search of the apache forum for netfront and check the box to search posts instead of threads and it oughta come up if it's still there.
|
Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
thanks- Just thought if there is an OEM, there must be a cab.
Good call. Thanks |

Problems with S2U2
For some reason, S2U2 is NOT built into my ROM.
I cooked a ROM which included the S2U2 99p but for some reason it is NOT in my progrms like normal. I unzipped the folder into my USER_OEM folder like normal and I see it in my Build OS. Yet, I am perplexed as I have cooked this ROM a few times but it still does not contain this program. Has anyone else ad this problem?? Thoughts?!!? |

Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
Hi, PPCFreak. I tried your Schaps AdvancedConfig v2.0.2.0 OEM and I'm having a problem. I think it's just that it puts a invalid shortcut into the Start Menu. If I manually navigate into the Windows folder and find the exe, it seems to work fine. There is another invalid shortcut to it in the Windows folder too.

Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
ppcfreak, if u have the time would u mind making an OEM for Microsoft SQLCE 2.0. It takes some rather unnecessary space. I don't know anything about making OEM's, but if you don'tm ind I can send a few bucks your way to make it ur worthwhile.

Re: WM6 OEM's by PPCFreak
Saqer:
I will see what I can do with the Microsoft SQLCE 2.0 as an OEM. Jeffneely: Shchaps 2.0.2.0 OEM: I will have to work on this. I don't have issues with it but I have had others say they are having the same problems with the shortcuts. |
