Hi, I successfully flashed my xv6700 with 1.00 bootloader with your ROM from PDAJs thread (clean wm6.5 apache). My questions are: will the same ROM work on bootloader 2.02? Also, how can I remove the pink keys from the keyboard?
Hello noobScrooge. No, you need to match the bootloader of a Rom with your device bootloader. Also, the pink is there to stay. Embrace it!

...Also, I want the most versatile OS for the xv6700. It sucks battery power quickly, so that is most important to prevent. Secondly, I am going to need Opera mini and J2ME for use over PP QNC. I installed QNC via Active Sync 4.2 before flashing. Maybe you know of the best maps solution, (lookup by name of business)like google maps and directions are best.
Setting your screen to turn off automatically at 30 seconds will help. Also, turn off WiFi and Bluetooth if you are not using them. You can search for Opera Mini and J2ME here on these forums. I use bing, although the Apache will not be able to find your location. The GPS is only used for emergency services.

Also I found GPS software and the guy says it works (xda developer forum)Sounds iffy, thought I'd mention it.
Sorry, no GPS with this little guy. Nice little phone though. Enjoy.

Hey KoKoMaster! Your Rom is now ready for download on the first post of this thread. By request, it is a lite version. Enjoy.

Hey Tink... How do I do a Master Reset on this a.k.a. Clear Storage to factory settings?

I accidentally messed up HTC Home and it wont load now. Tried a Hard Reset and it done nothing, everything was still the same.

Thanks

Hey n1nj4Lo! That is interesting that a hard reset would not restore HTC Home. What did you do? I would like to try and replicate your issue here.
At this point, I would reflash the Rom. That should restore HTC Home. Let us know.

Re: [5-12-12]Tinkerbell's 21916 Apache Rom

Well I was trying to install a bunch of different methods for getting M2D/TF2D and none worked so I went into SKTools and marked the select files to uninstall then when I reset my device HTC Home wasn't listed in the Today Plugin's list, the tab was still there. So I tried installing HTC Home 2.1 it showed up in the list but didn't do anything when selected, I also had HTC Home Customizer installed.

I've since then moved onto different rom's and trying to get one with built in M2D/TF2D installed on it and WinMo 6.5, I'm just running into a country code error on it.

Also for some reason hard reset doesn't appear to affect my phone, I press the far left and right soft keys, hit the reset pin at the sametime, let it boot back up slide open the keyboard and press y for yes then it loads windows again with no changes. LoL I don't get it.

Hrmmm Funky things a foot here...

So I successfully installed Simzz 6.5 with M2D/TF2D and a bunch of my stuff stayed, programs and what not, not that I'm complaining I enjoy using Wisbar Advance and their better Start Menu but it's just odd that a flash didn't wipe them out and clear everything.

I used NoID_RUU Tool and it's actually really fast and nice looking I have 14Mb of free space and 10Mb of free ram/memory
