New Dialer OEM

1 Attachment(s)
Here is an OEM I made of the Vista Black Dialer that can be found here: http://www.paulya.com/dialerskins.htm

I did not make this dialer, merely made the OEM.

I tried to use this, but got duplicate file errors when building the rom

Just hit ok when you get the errors. There should be 4, but it will build into your ROM fine....will fix soon.

I made an OEM for all of the other Vista dialers from there, which can be found at my GooglePages site: http://imnuts.googlepages.com/kitchen_oems

Someone (or multiple people) please test the following functionality with any of these dialers installed:

1. Compatible with HTC Smartdialing?
2. Do ## codes work?
3. Do the arrows in the top bar when connected to data flash between grey and white when data is dormant vs. actively transferring?
4. Most importantly, does 911 work correctly? It's up to you if you feel comfortable placing a test call to 911. I have never had a problem (I always try to call during a non-peak time [e.g. mid-morning] and the first thing I say is "there is no emergency--I am testing e911 functionality on my cell phone").

If these skins pass tests #2-4 then we can put them in the kitchen.

1. No, smart dialing doesn't work with it, though it won't cause errors when included with the dialer
2. The following codes work:
##33284
##3424
##775
##778
3. My data connection arrows are always white, but it may be something else I have in my ROM affecting it rather than the dialer.

911 Freezes. Trying to find cause now.

If memory serves me correctly... none of the www.paulya.com dialers work correctly with the new dialer from the WM6 rom. In the past... every time I tried one of these dialers, a couple of the buttons wouldn't work, and the phone capability would be crippled. Has this been fixed? Very curious.

Every button that I have tried seems to work. I don't know if I've hit all of them on the pad when in a phone conversation, but I have hit most of them and everything seems to work for me.

I stand corrected! I'mNuts is right. All the buttons DO seem to work. Nice dialer option!... now to check out the other dialer oem's he made.
