By the way - this gamepad won't allow two buttons at once. You map it's buttons to buttons on the 6700.

There's a program out there (I thought it was common knowledge) called Emulamer's Keyboard Fix for the 6700. You can find it using google. That will allow you to do diagonals or press multiple buttons at once. It runs in the background, but is crucial to playing games.

I'm dying to get it. Can't tell you how hard it is to play Legend of Zelda with the HTC's joystick!

How do I use that?

PolloLoco 12-13-2007 01:05 PM

You just install it to your phone. Then navigate to the program and run it. Close it with x, but leave it running in the background.

Now you can move diagonally or press two buttons at once.

Have you guys seen this? http://www.firstloox.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2719 It's a driver for standard USB gamepads to work with the loox. It's a WM5 based device.

I badly wish that would work. That would be so sweet on our phones. However, I've been told that our motherboard doesn't allow the 6700 to be a usb host. :-( So there's no hardware to apply the driver to.

Then again, I was told the same about SDHC cards. I hope this ends up being wrong as well.

Nevermind, I was being terminally stupid.
I was opening the CAB file with Winzip, instead of realizing it was a CAB.
DUH!!! This is what happens when you skip your morning coffee.
