Verizonguy, I like the new avatar! As a footnote to the RC kitchen, I had some problems with activesync with a ROM built on that kitchen. It somehow ran into a conflict on contacts sync and backfired thru my outlook and nuked everything. luckily I had synced to yahoo go. No real harm, other than a couple hours of oh $h**! but thought I'd at least post a FYI. I still can't believe the effort you put in these last few weeks to whet our appetites with a WM6 kitchen that had some of the fastest ROMs I've ever seen. Thanks again! Hope the eye thing is getting better too.
As always my best. guitardoc |

He's right. Beam is broken in the new kitchen.
I built a plain rom with the kitchen, changing no settings except screen capture, total commander & verizon ext rom & flashed 2 Apaches with that image. This was the result: http://verizonguy.com/temp/beam_failure.jpg I'm going to try applying the fixes I put in my original kitchen and see if I can fix it, then will post the results. |

Verizonguy... please try beaming from within the native contacts app (tap and hold on a contact and choose send contact->beam. That is what we used to test IR. I think LennySh also tested Novii remote and it worked fine.

Weird... I can do IR beam from both contacts and TC without error between a WM5 and WM6 6700 (WM6 as the source machine)
