Continuing the newbness, I just flashed WM6 this weekend and so far ... priceless. Very impressive. However I read about Helmi's Kitchen/VerizonGuy's Kitchen and want to make sure that the 071108 kitchen that is stickied is the correct version to use. Are there two kitchens and if so what are the benefits to either?

Thanks,

Daring,
The latest kitchen in helmi_c's thread is the one to use - that is the official PPCGeeks Apache kitchen.
VerizonGuy's kitchen was the result of a superhuman, 1-man development project that was initially based on Helmi_c's WM6 rom. VGuy used some of the existing kitchen tools, shared his developments openly, and got a lot of feedback on various bugs and issues. The Official Helmi's kitchen is the result of a team-based development project that took place in a more closed environment and involved the development of the new BuildOS, the more user-friendly GUI (thanks to Gguruusa). I believe VerizonGuy suspended further development of his kitchen when the official kitchen was released last week. All of the participants, including VerizonGuy, have been extremely generous with their time and expertise. They have all contributed in various ways to the official kitchen, the best model of cooperation that I've ever seen on an open web board.

Correct.

Post #1 of the stickies at the top always have the most current release/bug-fix info.

Verizonguy's dedication still impresses me.

That last line perfectly sums it up. The sheer amount of pooled talent here is astounding.
