Some news out that Verizon may be fighting with Microsoft and it may delay or cancel the release of WP8 on the big V.

Well, let me for one go on public record that this would be the STUPIDIST thing Verizon has done to date. It appears it's all about Big V putting spyware and controlware on the phone. (Which they have attempted to do for every phone they've ever had) It's time for them to realize that the community does not want crap on the phone they cannot control. Windows Phone 8 looks to be a good solid operating system, if too many hands get into the pot, they can ruin what is good.

Seems unlikely, but VZ has been stupid before. It seems more likely this is just rumors getting spun up for nothing, but who knows.

ms will likely let v do what they want in the end... simply ms needs the users that v can provide for ms, ms doesn't provide v with much since wp8 isnt yet a proven phone, and going by history it doesnt look good with wm and wp7. so even without wp8, v wouldn't lose many to other companies

Looks like you're right, Big V is releasing two phones by Thanksgiving, with the Samsung by December.
