#4 is kinda there. u can download office files and open them on the phone as well as PDF files.

#5 is there too u can use Zune marketplace to download and add songs tho id rather the songs be in the more superior .wma pro format rather than the traditional .mp3 format.

#8 ni muerto! there's no way MS will allow a competitors platform on their own. there's the gaystation phone for this.

everything else i need is pretty much coming but i can do just fine without it now . only other thing i want is more battery low warnings it seems to shut off a few seconds after the first. don't kno how many times i ended up with a dead battery due to this.

for #5 im referring to downloading a album or somethin from the web and adding it to your library that way

#8 they had google maps on windows mobile so i wouldnt say a sony app is out of the question id like google maps to be on wp7 as well

NoDo was supposed to come out in Jan 2011, remember?

I'd be very surprised if Mango came out in 2011.

ok how long did it take the first galaxy S phones to get an update to froyo? at least a couple seasons after the EVO got it that's for sure but no one was bashing Google for it. yet when a smaller incident happens with MS everyone starts chanting failure and shit. id be willing to be that there's another upgrade out in the wild as well. think MS would reveal their plans after this? Por favor

I wasn't claiming that Google was any better with updates, in fact I don't even remember mentioning Android in this thread, I was just saying that when MS says they will have an update is not necessarily when they will have one.

Google is just as guilty, as is HTC and Samsung.

Apple is the only company who seems to be able to get updates out fast and efficiently IMO.

nice, I'll have to check it out. When I'm at the gym I mostly want alternative-ish music to keep me going, although every once in a while I'm feeling the pull of twista or tech n9ne or something totally random, so I like Pandora for that, but if this app comes in clear and I have a bunch of genres and stuff to choose from then that's good for me, I'll try it out.

tune in is regular am and fm, but much clearer....and you can listen to almost any country...it's free and in the wp7 marketplace.

a few stations I tried on there had less than CD quality bitrates which are 192kb for MP3, 96kb for AAC/M4A and 64Kb for wma.

I think they are referring to this article:

Microsoft's Windows Phone 'mango' update to miss 2011 target? (updated) -- Engadget

and FYI, Galaxy S received first update November 2010...its the US carriers that caused most of the delays..also, its not surprising that Evo got update before Samsung as HTC has update before Samsung due to N1, due to Nexus S, SGS already has Gingerbread and Evo does not...ofcourse US varients won't be seeing it for a while probably..

(anyways not trying to start a discussion about it, just explaining)
