Price drop on WP7 phones.

Looks like prices have dropped on the new batch of WP7 phones out today. They're all $149. Good news for people like me!

Samsung Focus: $149
AmazonWireless: Samsung Focus Windows Phone (AT&T)

HD7: $149
AmazonWireless: HTC HD7 Windows Phone (T-Mobile)

LG Quantum: $149
AmazonWireless: LG Quantum Windows Phone (AT&T)

HTC Surround: $149
AmazonWireless: HTC Surround Windows Phone (AT&T)

Has anyone purchased from Amazon? How long do they usually take to ship?

Only the HTC Surround is available on those links, everything else is backordered. Maybe that's a good thing.

I'm glad to see the price drops... I think it's a good move and it puts the phone at the reach of a broader population. Some of us would pay full price for these toys. Others would never. But an affordable price point may sway those who are somewhere in the middle.

For which one?
It's $519 for the HD 7 for example. Just click "phone only, no service."

Well, I'm watching youtube, 7 (not phone) is stable on a Sony Vaio UX380N, I cried when the OQO ran leopard from a lear jet.. But windows phone7 is LOST in Cyberspace, why don't we change our name to pg-(phoneGeeks) (not) Htc 7 pro has no stylus...
I'm actually very sad at whats happening to the happy world of pocket computing...

Why on earth would you still want a stylus?

Re: Price drop on WP7 phones.

Thank you! It is amazing how much they are willing to take off! We still are plagued with the 8.25% tax on the FULL Price here though! =[=[

Don't pay ex no mind lol. The new stock rom for the hd2 made opera run slow, they couldn't fix it and offered this when I said I might go back with just sprint.
