I quote Engadget:

Either way, out of the crop of launch devices, the Omnia 7 makes a great snorkel if you fancy taking the first dip into Redmond's renovated swimming pool. Now, where's Dell hiding its Venue Pro?
Which makes it sound like they don't even have a review unit yet :/

Hmmm.... So far over all pretty good but, some almost deal killers in there, Maybe the CDMA users (Sprint/Verizon) will get WP7 1.1 with most of the "bugs" fixed..

Re: Engadget's WP7 Review

very detailed review of windows phone 7 (read: how reviews should be done). one thing that jumps out is the battery life, its pretty good except for the samsung focus which has terrible battery life. the reason is the super amoled screen displaying white such as when browsing the internet. it seems that while super amoled offers more vibrant colors & better contrast ratio, its hampered by terrible white performance. Though the battery life performance is better than the epic 4G's 3G browsing battery life (2.9 hours), its not that much better. it looks like SLCD might be the way to go until super amoled matures enough or they offer bigger batteries in smaller sizes.
