New PPCGEEKS, and XDA search engine!

I have decided to share my new search engine with my fellow geekers!!
I have created a new search engine that will search PPCGEEKS, and XDA developers.com ONLY.

You may bookmark the link below:
Hypnotic2010 Custom PPCGEEKS and XDA Developers search tool

This is a very helpful tool when you are looking for your PPC related answers!!
So instead of jumping back and fourth between sites or weeding through Googles results, you can get it from one spot!!.
This may also help cut down on duplicate threads.

I am open to adding any relevant sites to this search engine, so if you have any suggestions let me know.

they're working on one.
it's going to be 6.5 compatible so the finger scrolling will work, and a bunch of more things.
there's a huge list.
I believe the development thread for it is in the development and hacking section at xda if you want to check it out.
I'll see if I can find it again when I get back on the computer in a lil bit.

I was thinking of adding sites like Phonescoop, 1800pocketpc, wmpoweruser, fuzemobility, ppcfreeware, etc.

I dont want to clutter the search results though.
I was kinda waiting for some input from the community first.
I would like to make this as friendly and useful as possible.

I woulda thought they had the development started by now.
they're still working things out with xda I guess.
It's taking forever though.
but with features it'll have I think it'll be worth the wait.

here's the link:

Sorry for the off topic-ness.

I personally just type in "xda ppcgeeks" at the end of any keywords in google.

thats a real good idea... or just keep the one site... make al the options but keep ppc and xda "checked" by default... then u could "check" the other boxes if u want a bigger search

Just found this and I love it!! It gets annoying having to search on google then go to only XDA & PPCG, thanks for putting it all in one spot.

Why not, I guess. I know it may be unlikely it may have something that may not be found here or xda. But A little extra info wont hurt?

I disagree, once you add sites that arn't necessary you get a lot of backtracking and repeats of the same question and answers.

LOL, wierd, I never saw a strange background color. Maybe because I use Firefox? I dont know, but I noticed it was coded for like a lime green or something..lol, had to change that.
I actually am rethinking this adding of Android sites, I think I might make a separate Search engine just for Android, and leave the WM search alone..hmm

Re: New PPCGEEKS, XDA, Android Central search engine! (6-29-10)

I really like that idea. also could you make the sites you list clickable?

Hypnotic2010 06-30-2010 09:02 AM

Re: New PPCGEEKS, and XDA search engine!

Changed my mind about mixing in the Android results, so I reverted back to searching only Xda, and Ppcgeeks.
A separate Android search can now be found here:
