Use WiFi on WM6.1?
 
How do I use WiFi on WM6.1? I know it was disabled, but is there some sort of hack to enable it?

update your phone info please...

on a mogul its a hard button on side, on TP, goto comm mannage,a nd turn it on... pretty simple

First get a internet account, then get a wireless router and set it up.. :lol:

Other than that, what bored said :wave: It would be kinda ridiculous for MS to completely disable WiFi on a PPC (though they have been know to do ridiculous things before)

I think we should know what kind of phone your using...Ive never seen it disabled in WM 6.1....lol...

Well if your with sprint u would have to get a new phone as the touch lacks wifi!! the gsm version does however!!!!

Lies, because on WM 6.0 in Comm Manager, Internet Sharing used to be WLAN. But on 6.1, the Touch got EV-DO, A-GPS, and changed WiFi to internet sharing.

No one is lieing to you. Internet sharing I believe refers to tethering and not WiFi. Not all PPC devices are capable of WiFi although the OS does support it. If I remember the lack of WiFi was one of the reasons I didn't get this device when it first came on the market.
