Verizon PRL with Alltel Carrier

I'm a noob and I've searched for hours trying to get a straight answer. I have a HTC Diamond with Alltel service and I live in Birmingham, AL. There are no Alltel towers around and I can only get 1x. Can I use a Verizon PRL on my phone yet (since Verizon and Alltel are merging) so I can get EVDO and not get charge a roaming fee? Sorry in advanced if it's already been posted and/or if it's in the wrong forum.

I am using the verizon's 51250 (modified) on the alltel network. At the end of this month, I'll let you know if there were any roaming charges.
