Has this ever happed to anyone.

So I had to reload my laptop computer with Outlook and had not set it up to sync with my phone as of yet. I connected my phone the other day to install so software on my phone and active sync wiped out all but the most recent contacts and appointments that I had put in my phone.
If this has ever happened to anyone or if anyone knows of some "Magical" way to get my contacts and appointments back it would be great...

P.S. there is nothing in my outlook so just syncing with that would not help
.

That actually happened to me when I upgraded my computer to Vista, and reloaded Outlook. I looked all over the place. But I'm sorry to say this, your contacts are gone. When it happened to my I lost 300+ numbers, and it was at 5am after I had spent the previous six hours trying to get Vista working on my nearly slagged computer, and was just about to go to bed. I figured I'd just plug my phone in and head to bed. Luckily the screen was on, and on my contacts, and I watched the all disappear. To put it lightly, I was angry. lol Anyface, I'm really sorry man, but they're gone. Start getting word out through Facebook or Myspace, or whatever to start getting numbers back. I still don't even have half the numbers I lost.

Unfortunately it's a pain most of us go through. I have backups set to run a minimum of twice a week on my phone just for this reason. Plus I have copies on my PIM data stored in the cloud and on a USB memory stick in a safe deposit box just for added security.
