Weird text messages
 

I am getting weird text messages from the number 9103 saying:

You have new IMs. Select GO midlet:com.oz.
mobile.libraries.
application.MobileClient

I was wondering if anyone knew how to stop it or what was causing it. I get the text messages a couple times a day and it's getting old. I have blocked the number with Sprint but they keep coming. I have an LG Rumor.

Have you register your phone number to that site? If so here is what you do; Click on messenger, top left on the messenger window then scroll down to preferences, click and scroll down to ignore list, click and in the next window tick ignore anyone not on my friend's list and click o.k. Sounds like you're getting spammed.
If the online blocking doesn't work, I would call Sprint and have them block it there.

Wait til you get the phone calls about your car payment...Not to mention it was paid for cash...LOL!!!

Wow, I didn't expect this many replies.

1) I don't know if I have any OZ software on my phone. I am not very savvy on software. I'm new to this.

2) I do have MSN messenger on my phone. I will try changing things and see if I get anything tomorrow. What do you mean register my phone number to a site? The Sprint site, yes.

I mean midlet website, if you havent register your phone number to midlet website wich i coulnt find, then maybe you've use your email address on midlet website or you have any OZ software installed on your device. Seems to me that you are not getting the sms directly from a midlet source, instead the IM gets sent to your email address and from there the sms warning sent to your phone. Can you tell us what programs have you installed on your device around the same time you started getting this weird sms message?

The phone is completely stock. I do have MSN Messenger on it. I did change the privacy settings on my msn to stop people I don't have on my list from sending me messages. I don't think a midlet anything exists. I googled and yahooed and msned and couldn't find ANYTHING about a midlet. I am guessing it is spam.

When I started getting the text messages, I sent a text message to a number to vote for the show Survivor. After I voted I started getting the messages.

Weird, i search for midlet myself with no luck, is you are getting spammed call sprint to see if they can do something about it, last choice will be changing your phone number....
