let's change the subject then

I am sorry for such a dumb question but I have little time to find the answer myself. Being a single dad with two young children and working 60 hours a week. I am wondering if there is a ppc that I can use on Nextel's network. The reason I ask is because I have a Sprint 6700, 6800, 6850, 6900, and 6950 but they are all CDMA. Where I work at, there isn't any service. Nextel service is great there. Once I find out if there is something worth getting I will work up a trade.
Thanks in advance,
Yamus

Re: Nextel???

Nextel does not have any PPC's. They used to have an old flip phone that ran windows but no PPC's. They do however, coming Jan. 11th to stores and available through telesales now, have the Blackberry Curve with Direct Connect. It's supposed to be $150 after all the rebates.

I was under the assumption that you could use any GSM phone on any GSM network. Shows what I know. Thanks for the info.

Ah ha....I knew it. Now to figure out how to make it happen. I will post pics of the two 6800's up for grabs if everything goes as planned.

Right now I am using a Sprint Diamond and/or a Touch Pro. Is there and easy way to increase the signal on one or both?

GSM=Global System for Mobile Communication and in America there are a few carriers that are GSM yes all of the phones are able to be used on each other once unlocked...

iDen= Integrated Digital Enhanced Network and has a few company's in America but primarily it is Nextel...

iDen phones can use GSM sim cards even though the networks are different...
