Tether PS3 to phone for internet??
 

Does anyone know if there is a way to tether your PPC to your PS3 for updates and such? Im only seeing the wifi and ethernet wired ways of doing it?

Cant you tether it to say, your PC, then share your wireless connection out to the PS3?

Or possibly tether to a wireless router, then your network?

Theres a few ways to do it honestly.

both my PPCs are htc touch's(Vogues). They dont haye wifi so I dont think they would work. Good idea though. Does the PS3 have a wifi reciever built in or do you have to buy it extra?

I believe the PS3 has a Wi-Fi receiver.. I don't know for certain though...

even if you had wifi on your ppc, wmwifirouter will not work directly with the ps3. ps3 does not support ad-hoc. you can tether your ppc to pc, then connect ps3 to pc, and share internet connection. google it, youll find out how.
