Digiblur, Frazell:
WHAT USB cable? WHAT Manual? WHAT Box? Not everybody buys new, ya know. All I got was the phone, battery, 512M miniSD and a charger from another brand of phone. The charger has a regular miniUSB plug on it. I too thought it was the wrong one for that weird socket on the TP.

Yeah, I did... I didn't know this... And it is relevant to HTC users... Especially if you are about to spring for another car charger or another USB cable... I saved at least one person from having to spend money on something they don't need \\:D/

Make that two people. Thanks.

Speaking of "re-using", the phone charges off of a USB port, right? I guess you could make a charger with whatever mini usb data cable you had and one of those plug-in wallwarts with a USB socket on it or anything with a powered USB socket on it.

My USB hub is powered so therefore live whether the computer is on or not. I leave the phone plugged into it when I'm at home. It's a nice slow safe phone charger and one less wallwart in the sockets.

Thanks for the help but it REALLY would have been MUCH better if you were a bit more Descriptive in your Title. "Attention all HTC users" is a bit too general.

It would have saved alot of people who already knew (probably about 90% of the community) from having to opening up the thread.

But thanks anyways.

Boo hoo.... you know where the "back" button is, don't you?
