used phones and sprint sero trouble activacting?
 

can you buy a used phone from the forums or from ebay and add it to a legacy sero (30 a month) without any hassle?
I am getting married and all my money seems to be going to that, if I came home with a 400-500 dollar touch pro id for sure be in the dog house. So I was looking into a used mogul, or living with my horrible q9c

I dont see why it should be but your best bet would be to just call customer care. *2 from your cell phone

If you mean just swapping the phone, I do not THINK there would be a problem in that, but if you mean to add it as a second line on the sero I do not THINK that is possible, as what I know is that there where no family (shared) plans in sero.

no not a 2nd line wifey and i both have separate sero lines as of now. just dumping my current q9c and replacing it with an new (used) phone.

thanks, i really cant wait till the wedding is over. we have already lived together for 3 years, so its like we already are married just gotta make things official, and its an excuse to have a big party.

Just make sure you're going from a power vision phone to another power vision phone. The codes for Vision and power vision phones were different for legacy Sero and you can't switch from one to the other without calling about it (I've read a lot of horror stories on SU). I'm 99% sure the Q is Power vision, but you might wanna make sure via the guides that came with your phone or somewhere else. Not trying to scare you, just don't want you to run into any drama :)

Edit: I just checked Sprint's site and it's PV, so what everyone said above is correct. Just activate it online when you get the phone, and you'll be good to go.
