Headset For Jeep
I have always gotten along fine with my Motorola H700 headset I only use it in the car. Now I have a Jeep Wrangler and it is loud inside it. I can not hear the H700 and the person I am talking to does not hear me. I am needing input on the best noise canceling Bluetooth heaset. I was considering the Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset or the Jabra BT530 Bluetooth Headset. I am open to input on these or different ideas. I have read about a million comparison posts but I am hoping for input from someone with a similar situation (Jeep-Loud Car-etc)
Thanks In Advance |

Ok I have also added to my list I am considering the BlueAnt Z9. Any comments out there?

Re: Headset For Jeep
I have a jeep as well and I'm happy with my Motorola S9's. I bought them more for use as bluetooth headphones not as a headset, but the voice quality for outgoing transmissions is fine. I'm not sure how "legal" it is to wear headphones while driving but I only use it for calls, not music when driving.

Re: Headset For Jeep
I have the s9 as well but i get complaints about background noise. Do you have that problem?

Re: Headset For Jeep
I only got complaints with the top(hard or soft) and doors off. Topless with doors on and with windows up, I've asked and it's been ok. They said they thought they were on speaker phone but otherwise it was just ok.

Re: Headset For Jeep
Interesting I will have to do some testing with it although not sure i want to wear my s9 in the vehicle all the time makes it hard to talk to someone in the Jeep with you.

Re: Headset For Jeep
I have the Jawbone. I have used it while on my motorcycle. I have pretty loud aftermarket pipes and I can hear them and they can hear me as long as I am behind the windshield. Some issues with the Jawbone are wind interference. Doing 65 on the expressway makes a constant whirling sound if I don't duck down a few inches, or so I have been told, they hear it not me. This would not be an issue in the Jeep.
I also use my Jawbone and Treo 800W with Sprint Navigation and BlueTooth Audio 1.0. While using this on the bike I can hear the directions. It is a little hard due to not being able to adjust the volume while using BlueTooth Audio 1.0. |
