stop notifications while on a call

There has to be a way to do this, but I just cannot find it. It's one of those annoying things that will only happen once in a while, but when it does, it just bugs the heck out of me. Occassionaly when I am on a call a text message or calendar notification will come through. The phone will chime it's usual notification and since I often use lengthy ringtones to announce these events, it can be very annoying when it happens during a call. How do I make WM6 not interrupt my call with announcements such as calendar or text message information until I've finished the call?

I agree, there's gotta be something, I'm running dcd 3.2.6 and when i get a text it just give me a little tone, no vibrate even though its enabled, just the tone. so there might be something in the registry, but i have no clue where. give it some time, one of the smart guys on here may come by and have a solution for ya.
