Owner's Info
 

Mine is a UTStar 6700 which has a page for owner's info. So tell me, what all do you have there? Name, address, second telco number, promises of riches for the return of the missing device?
Now really. If lost (or stolen), do you ever expect to see it again? And along those lines, do you lock your device?

i never lock it, and if i were to lose it i really dont expect to get it back

You might get it back if it's a regular phone. But for the ppc, getting it back is like hitting a lottery.

I use a password program that i got here, which lets me lock it, and with out the code its kinda useless, or at least it gives off that "u cant use me so return me for money vibe" (hehe) unless, that is a hard reset or something like that breaks the code and chances of the finder being hackers like us may be quite slim for some. It displays my other cell number. I feel that the chance however small, to get it back is worth it, heck most people dont even know what our lil jewel is, people always ask, " is that a new ipod?" and i tell them no its a wi-god!! 8) (shameless pun!!)

I have my phone set up on Sprint Family Locator so if someone steals my phone I will hunt them down.

I use Subsembly Wallet to lock all my important information, never lock the PPC tho. If I lost it, NOT going to happen I usual sleep with it in my hand. I might loose a kid but not my 6700 I assure you. :D

yea if i lose it i no i anit geting it back lol. not a phone like that. and i dont lock it casuse i am afrad i will forget the code. LOL
