WinCE Cab Manager ?????????

Anyone know how I can add a prompt to restart your device after the cab file has finishes installing? I built a cab and can't figuire it out :scratch:
Any help will be much appreciated. Jdume.

Generally if your cab replaces any file that is in use the phone will automatically prompt for restart.

The really really dirty method would be to find a very small file that you know is in use and have the cab install the same copy of it.

Other than that I have no clue.

Mortscript's install.dll allows for you to run a mortscript after installation. You could add mortscript, the dll, and a small script to popup a restart notice... it would add about 200kb to your cab.

That sounds good because I have Mortscript being install through my cab but I have a hard time writing scripts for Mortscript, and it does not matter to me how big it is my cab is already 5.5mb any way it takes like 10 or 15 mins to install.
