where do i go to d/l games for my phone?
 

I am looking to down load some games, but its hard for me to run a search right now because i am at work, and the firewall blocks everything that comes up. is there a category on this site where i can find links to free downloadable games? thanx

this was helpful, but i have a lot of questions, i thought it would be quick and easy to install a game on here but i guess i was mistaken... i will return to this thread with questions when i go on my lunch break, thanx a lot for all of your help!

It should be quick and easy. You should just have to install a cab file.

everytime i try to d/l a game it gives me a zip file. i unzip and extract the files, than when i ckick on the files it asks me to choose a program to open it with. i don't kno what to do

You have to move the cab file to your phone and then click on it. It should then automatically install it and ask you whether or not you want it installed to your phone's device memory or your phone's storage card.

how do i know which is the cab file? when i right clock on the files after i unzip them where it says file type, all it has is the file name...?

Cab files have an .cab extension. This is what you'll load onto your phone. Then find the cab file on your phone and double tap to start the process of installing the game.

When you're looking at the list of files on your computer after you've unzipped them, the cab file will look like a little two drawer blue file cabinet....and as Coz said will have the .cab file extension.

"cab" is short for cabinet file, and that's why there will be a little blue file "cabinet" picture for the file ;)
