text message to google
 

has anyone ever heard of being able to send a text message to google for say the address/phone number of a resturaunt? There's a guy in my office that doesn't have internet, but says you can text google for information??!! :shock:

yea its freaging awesome text the word "pizza 27601" to 46645 that would respond with a txt back from google with all the pizza places near raleigh nc.

No he's not. 46645 (GOOGL) is what I use. I think 466453 (GOOGLE) is new, but both work.

haha yea coz google must have just added the full one, but both will work. cuz I use this as a txt package seller. =)

nothing specific. i've gotten alot of empty responses, probably cause i havent put in enough information, out of haste.

i still keep my web search plugin on my today screen, and i use that more than SMS to google.
