Well, Mine is still 60612, I don't know if they have 60711 available yet.. but if you have it, what is it doing for you?

nothing really because i'm in the middle of thousands of towers in san diego here so i never have to worry about roaming or handoffs.

Well, thats great. I live in Yuma and the coverage here sux.. if it wasn't for the great price I have on my plan I would switch to VZ.. We don't even have EVDO here and I just talked to a rep and they told me they don't plan on it till 2011.. Sux

When Corolada posts it I might go get it but I live and travel in areas with a ton of towers so it doesn't really matter for me.

That PRL has been out for weeks and been on PPC geeks since 4/1 discussion HERE. Ive been using it but see no affect in Maine.

60711 found HERE. I also used it for a few weeks before the 60612 and it also worked with no problems or ill affects. 60711 I read here some place is a PRL update for air cards, but they work the same way.

Dial ##778# Select "view". Then look for PRL in the menu, it will show you which one you have. If you have your MSL you can choose edit, place the file located posted around here somewhere on another thread unzipped on the root of your SD or in any directory in the device. When you "update prl" it will look for it and let you choose it to update. Click ok, it will ask ya if you want to continue with the update, if you want press ok and it will then reset your phone.

You take full responsibility for what may or may not happen to your phone by doing so.

Startmenu > Setting > System > PhoneInfo
look for PRL version

I call *2 and request your account be flagged for a PRL update. Then next time you call customer care, right after the english/spanish prompt it will check for upgrades and inform you it is updating your phonel.

If you call *2 they will only update your PRL if you live in the area where that PRL has changed.

I tried to update to this prl, and my phone just sat looking for a signal. So then I went to 60611 and same thing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but now I'm reflashing my rom to fix it :(

You have to soft reset your phone manually after changing your PRL... If it didn't do it automatically..

Yeah it did do it automatically, I tried it about 4 times.

However, after letting it sit for about 15 minutes searching for towers using 60711, it found signal again.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks and I have been traveling a lot, been to Minnesota and now I am in New Mexico. Lots of roaming in both places, this PRL still needs some work IMHO, I am removing some of my added software to make sure I don't have something interfering with the radio. My Mogul is slow to change from roaming to sprint at times while driving from Texas to New Mexico I had to soft reset several times after calls, I was using GPS when the phone rang, not sure if this had something to do with it. In Minnesota I had to set my Mogul to roaming only to get a signal inside the building, seams this PRL likes to hold the Sprint tower a little longer even if the Sprint signal is weaker. I didn't have these issues with 60611.

Are the PRL's numbered sequentially? Reason im asking is I had 60410 on my Titan and called sprint to request a PRL flag. It went through and when I did the update and the phone rebooted the new PRL is listed as 40410.???

Ugh. I can't get a signal now. I downloaded the new PRL, updated, soft reset, and now I'm roaming and get a "Can't authorize account" when I try to make a call...

Check your MDN.. I cant see how updating your PRL can mess it up but worth a look.

can you get sprint cs? if yu can, tell them to update your prl and see if that fixes it

Ugh...I've tried hard and soft, reflashed to stock, and everything in between. I even went to DCD's 3.0.1 and had it working until I soft reset, then back to roaming and no dialing...

If you flashed back to the Sprint stock RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.35.651.2_RS_TITAN_3.35.04_4 350H_SPCS_AM_Ship
it changed your MSL back to the one that was loaded in that Rom. 60610 I believe it was. It was a cab in the EX Rom. Loaded after a new hard reset/flash when your PPC said "You phone will customize in 3,2,1".

I think my question got lost in the preceeding posts without getting answered so I'll ask again.
I previously had the Sprint 60410 PRL and called sprint support to ask for a PRL flag. After talking to a tech and getting the flag set, I hung up, dialed *2 and recieved a message that there was an update for my phone...which is what usually happens. After waiting for the message to say things were done, the phone was soft reset and restarted. Now my PRL is 40410. I looked on the corolada PRL page and neither of my PRLS were listed as sprint PRL's. Any ideas?
I have a mogul with ROM version 3.35.651.2 (stock/upgraded sprint ROM)
I did a search and of course, it brought me back to this post.

Problem solved...for me at least.
I called tech support back and explained the situation to them and they told me that I must have recieved a non-sprint PRL from a non sprint tower. HMMMM. I can see at least four towers from my upstairs window....yet I get crappy reception in my house. So I must have been latched on to someone elses tower when the update processed.
In any event, after a soft reset and another call to *2 I now have 60612.
