Sprint.com allows you to switch to an alternate phone now for SERO?
 

I'm sorry in advance if this is off-topic....but I just logged into sprint.com and they made me change all of my usernames and passwords and they have a new look now. I heard before for people not on sero you can add/remove different phones and I always wanted to be able to do that (I'm a GSM guy at heart and I loved having a smaller phone to go out with) so I'm just curious can we do that now? I see an option to "Upgrade or Activate Phone" then when you click that sub-options come up to "Activate it now" where you enter the IMEI. I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether or not we can flip back and forth between different phones. That would definitely take some strain off of my Mogul. Yes this is a little off topic so I am moving it to general discussion forum, there are a couple of threads on this topic and the changes Sprint has gone through lately. I don't believe this question has been asked, so maybe someone with some experience on this will answer your question.

Yes, you can switch phones. I just brought a Touch from eBay and I was able to activate it online.

Sprint has switched to a new billing system and that accounts for the new look and added options. You can also on the new system pick 3 friends from any carrier and the mobile to mobile calls are free.

Where do you see the "pick 3 friends" thing on Sprint's site? I just signed in and poked around my account settings and didn't see anything. ](*,)

Wow 3 friends! I don't really like Allhail but I have 10 friends on the cheapest smartphone plan and 20 is available with higher plans. and Data plans seem to be cheaper but the other carrier really need to pick up on this friends thing Alltel is slow as H3ll to get phone but their plans lead kinda funny.

I never seen such a thing on my Sprint acc page so I went to look and got this...

Maybe todays my day to be upgraded.....

So I signed back in to my Sprint account and on the left where the pic of my phone is and my phone number ,then learn about this phone, Then there it is was the "Upgrade or Activate Phone" Ya man.

I've changed/activated phones for 3 different phones on my account, 2 of them multiple times.....very easy, gives you your MSL/unlock code & all :)
