Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
I have been writing a program for a work around. It's not that hard but I don't have sprint. If anyone with sprint would like to volunteer to work with me or send me a phone that dose not have working MMS PM me "have friend who works at sprint". As well PM me any links to 3rd party MMS applications open source appreciated.

Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
hi,
I have the sprint mogul and the only way I could send picture message is by the ten digit phone number@ email address. It only work with turning on the wifi on the phone. Am I doing it wrong or what ? Please help:disgust: |
Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
Yes, Sprint PPC's do not support picture sending any other way. You can look for nueMMS for an easier method but it still sends over email. The wifi connection should have absolutely no effect on the actual sending. To give you more information please provide us with some more information. What email provider (gmail, yahoo, comcast ...) and what email software (stock, or something else). Thanks, hope this helps.

Have them send a MMS to your email address. It should come in from their email for MMS. If not then I am out of suggestions. Does pckpix work? It said international on their website.

Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
the other option you have is email the pic to yourself. let me explain, first email your pic to ##########@pm.sprint.com (the 10 # is your phone number). in a couple of minutes you will get a text message saying you have a new picture at your sprint mailbox. click on the picture to view it. then click on (forward). after that just type in the phone number you like to send the pic to. i know its kinda long, but with the way sprint got its the fastest and most reliable way i've come across. one more thing each carrier has different mailboxes so check your carrier to see which one it is

Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
pibe38,

Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
Well i have a method i use its kind of monotnous but it works. Set up a contact in your phone XXX-XXX-XXXX@pm.sprint.com. Then you send the photo to yourself. You will recvieve the picture in a text message, and when you recieve it you will have the option to forward the picture and you can send it to any number without having to remember all these silly addresses. yes it takes a few extra steps but i've had a 100% success rate! Good luck and i hope this helps!!!

So....I got lost...is there a way to send pictures instantly to another cell number? I tried MMS....it did not work for me....sending via e-mail is a great idea....However, I do not have the e-mail addresses. My HTC is new....only disappointment is that I can't send picture mail....help! Thanks!

Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
Just use sMMS Picture Mail Composer it works like a charm, but you have to login to your picmail service via http://pictures.sprintpcs.com , type your mobile number and send pwd to your phone, get txt msg, reset your pwd once you login. Now you have settings for sMMS when you install the cab file form dragging and dropping to the phone!
Works like a charm! Thanks so much someguy08@mail.com !!!! :headbang: ROB O. :headbang: |
Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)

I got these from a Sprint tech before they had released PictureMail.
(##########@ aka 10-digit#@) @mms.att.com @mms.mycingular.com (may still work for those not on new plans yet) (possibly alternates for BB and pdas) @mobile.att.net @dtcs.mobile.att.net (and as you have all said) @pm.sprintpcs.com @vzwpix.com @tmomail.net |
Re: Using your email to send pics (Picture Mail)
