How do I turn off my phone with Android OS running on my HTC Touch Pro2?
 

I just put Android OS on my Verizon Touch Pro 2 so I am wondering how to turn off the phone while running Android OS because the usual "End/Turn Off" button that works for Windows Mobile or for any phones isn't working to shut off the phone.

So, I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how.

u could always just take out the battery if you like.. but i wouldnt want to do that every single time it would be a pain. sorry other than this i dont have an answer for you.

The button that turns the screen on and off is set to be the power button, hold that and it will bring up the shutdown/reset menu. Also you can always remove the battery, or press the softreset button under the battery cover with the stylus.
