ESN Jacking help

Someone jacked my ESN and MSID and cloned my account to make $2393.59 in calls to Jamica.

My question is:

Is it possible or has anyone heard of an app or maybe mobile website that could read this info from your phone and send it to a third party without your knowing?

I suspect the girl at best buy who kept texting someone while setting up my two additional lines of service (that took over an hour) and had access to my sprint account and my phone. Two days after being there my phone stopped receiving incomming calls and the internet was intermittent. After complaining to sprint for over a week they finally shut off my phone this morning for usage fraud. Why they didnt see this for the last 20 calls i made i will never know. ](*,)

I dont remember installing anything but it was a few weeks back. I wanted to get more input before accusing someone of doing this.

Thanks

I dont think they 'jacked' your ESN instead it could be that she activated another phone in the account instead of yours. Sprint makes this very easy to do online which is great if you get a new phone and you dont want to deal with phone menus and csr's. If you still have access to your account online you can see which phone was being used

Actually, and this is a very strange coincidence. This exact same thing happened to me. About three weeks ago, my wife gives me a call and someone else answers, and the person claims that she called his number which was activated in the store. Out of nowhere, the only call I receive that whole day is none other than from Jamaica. When I pick up, I can barely understand what the person says but I made out that he and I were talking awhile ago and whatnot. Long story short, I only had about 200 charged on my account and they changed my msid. You need t contact the Sprint fraud department so that they can open a case.

Wasn't there a bunch of hoopla going on awhile back about people within Sprints CS department that were making insurance claims on customers accounts and having new phones shipped to PO boxes? It seems to me that the likelyhood of it having been done from within Sprint makes more sense than someone cloning your esn and msid.
