i need help with what to do with the tp2
 

im going to get the tp2 and i was hoping some1 could tell me just random stuff i need to know about it. how to customize it, how good texting is, im not the most technological advance when it comes to phones. thanks

youll love it, goto tp2 upgrades forum and read about unlocking it so you can flash it to a 6.5 rom. feel free to pm me when you get it and maybe i can help if you get stuck on something. text/mms is fine stock and flashed and batterylife is good. just start reading the tp2 forums to see what you need for tweaking ect.

lol, unlocking the phone is used to make it posible to run 6.5 ect roms that are better than the stock 6.1 rom till the 6.5(offical) rom comes out. you get loots of features from other phones(leo) in custom roms. the watherclock being one and tons of other goodies.

Have you thought about what you want to accomplish with the phone? That in itself may help you determine what to do.

definatly take a look at the TP2 section and read read read :)
My first phone was a motoQ and all the things they were doing seemed overwhelming at first, but once you ask questions people will answer. I recommend playing with the phone for a few days after you do something new to it.

Out of curiosity did you get a backup program for your contacts?

If you are with USCC you are already running 6.5

Definitely unlock so you can try custom ROMS. I'm just starting out myself, but there is ALOT of information available here and some really cool stuff!!

The USCC contacts backup is OK, but try the windows myphone for an easy way to backup a little more than just your contacts. there are alot of options but this one is easy to start with until you get acquainted better with all the possibilities.
