iphone for sprint since some phones have SIM

Since there are now some sprint phones that come with a SIM card, will it be possible to use it on an unlocked iphone?

No, Sprint doesn't use SIM cards, only CDMA service (not GSM). Some of their WORLD phones have SIM cards so you can use the phone in other countries, not vice versa.

BTW, you have a Touch Pro 2. Why would you want an iPhone??

yea i know about the CDMA service. and i know the world phones like the tp2 and blackberry are supposed to be used for when you go to other countries but if the SIM is unlocked, could you use it with the iphone or other phones for that matter?

Even if you did that, you still couldn't use the iPhone on Sprint. Sprints network could not accept or use the iPhone.

Think of it this way. When you use the SIM card in your Sprint phone, you're NO LONGER using Sprint's network. Your roaming on a GSM network. The TP2 and Blackberry can use Sprint CDMA or GSM service. But Sprint doesn't offer GSM service, and iPhone ONLY works with GSM.

with this being said a iphone would work on a sprint sim it would just be in global roaming the whole time! it wouldnt use sprints cdma network it would us the network that has a agrement with sprint for gsm roaming! just like verizon uses vodafone for gsm roaming! this whole process will just be very expencive!! if i remember correctly like $2 per min!
